According to the Federal Statistical Office, the People's Republic of China was Germany's most important trading partner in 2019 for the fourth time in a row. However, border closures, disruptions in logistics and disruptions in supply chains have led to severe export slumps in recent months, both in China and in the German-speaking world.

The need to intensify business relations again and return to China is all the more urgent.

But what does the "new normality" look like for international, but also local employees in the People's Republic?
