Spot The Risks in Mental Health with International SOS' new online questionnaire

07 September 2020 ,  London

To help raise awareness around mental health, International SOS has updated its highly successful Spot the Risk online questionnaire. Spot the Risk – Mental Health is an open access platform, providing information and building awareness into the indicators and influences on mental health. The questionnaire can be shared freely by organisations and individuals.

Spot the Risk – Mental Health was designed by Dr Neil Nerwich at International SOS in partnership with Dr Rachel Lewis, Chartered Occupational Psychologist at Affinity Health at Work. Responses to the ten questions, with their corresponding insights, are not held anywhere and provide a completely safe and anonymous way for individuals to raise their awareness.

Dr Neil Nerwich, Group Medical Director of Assistance at International SOS commented, “With the current levels of uncertainty and pressures in many people’s lives, mental health awareness is a pressing issue for individuals and organisations alike . Increasing knowledge, accessing professional support, learning how to cope with psychological distress and being aware of the stress that others may be under can help greatly.”

Dr Rachel Lewis, Chartered Occupational Psychologist at Affinity Health at Work added, “Providing access to information and raising awareness can help to foster an encouraging and positive environment. Empowering employees can also help in moving mindsets to adapt to new challenges and changes. The tool provides a good first step in building awareness around mental health and mental ill-health.”

Spot the Risk – Mental Health is accessible online 24/7. To participate, or share the link, simply find it at Spot the Risk – Mental Health.
